Pediatric Urology involves the management of genital and urinary health issues that occur in children. We offer special emphasis on developmental complications affecting the kidneys, bladder, urethra or genital tract. Our patients receive specialized care from award-winning clinical staff who have extensive experience in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopy and robotic surgical procedures. Their scope of care is wide reaching. Our doctors serve on the faculty of Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens.
Common conditions treated include:
- hypospadias (urine passage ending short of the end of the penis)
- hydronephrosis (obstruction of urine flow from the kidneys)
- cryptorchidism (undescended testes)
- reflux (backup of urine from the bladder toward the kidneys)
Our dedicated team will partner with you to establish a care plan that is the most effective and the least invasive. They are committed to creating a child-friendly experience to ease your and your child’s concerns, and will ensure that your child gets the needed care to lead a normal and health childhood.
