NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). NewYork-Presbyterian Queens offers advanced-level care for high-risk infants born with extremely low birth weight. We have a wide range of comprehensive services including respiratory support, advanced imaging, and on-site access to pediatric subspecialties.
NewYork-Presbyterian Queens adheres to the highest standards of care for breastfeeding mothers and their babies. These standards are grounded in evidence-based practices recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) for optimal infant feeding support in the precious first days of a newborn’s life.
