About Our Program

At NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, we understand that you’re concerned about how your child’s orthopedic condition or injury may affect their comfort, function, self-esteem, and school experience. Our pediatric orthopedic surgeons from NewYork-Presbyterian & Weill Cornell Medicine have exceptional experience treating all types of orthopedic conditions in children of all ages, from congenital disabilities to trauma, sports injuries, spine deformities, and neuromuscular disorders. We understand your child’s individual developmental needs and take a holistic approach when planning their care.

We provide a clear explanation of our treatment plan and what you and your child need to do afterward to keep the recovery going. You can usually get an appointment for your child within two days of your call. Children who need to be admitted to the hospital for surgery stay in our dedicated Pediatric Inpatient Unit or Intermediate Care Unit.

Our Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation service feature a team of experts with specialized training in the rehabilitation of children. Your child’s rehabilitation team customizes a plan of care to maximize their function and quality of life.
