Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery
The sports medicine and arthroscopy specialists at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens are experts in the diagnosis and management of injuries occurring from sports, daily activities, work, and accidents. We care for a wide range of patients, including young student athletes, professional athletes, "weekend warriors," laborers, and older patients who want to maintain an active lifestyle.
Our doctors are fellowship-trained and use treatments based on the latest research to restore full pain-free function. We use nonsurgical treatments, including medications, injections, rehabilitation, and regenerative therapies. When surgery is necessary, we use the most current arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques to repair the area of injury.
We serve as team physicians for St, John's University, Holy Cross High School, St. Francis Prep High School, Flushing High School, and Metropolitan Oval, and we are consultants for numerous soccer academies.
