General Information
Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program and eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in New York State. For PGY2 residency programs, applicants must be completing or have completed an ASHP-accredited or candidate-status PGY1 residency.
For 2026-2027 pharmacy residency year, NYP will be recruiting for the following programs:
- PGY1 Pharmacy Residency (10 positions)
- PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency (2 positions)
- PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency (1 position)
- PGY2 Informatics Pharmacy Residency (1 position)
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Pharmacy Residency Programs participate in the ASHP Resident Matching Program (National Matching Service). Applications must be submitted through the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS) by January 2nd, 2026 . Exceptions may be made under unusual circumstances through special arrangement with the respective Residency Program Director. Required documents include:

- Curriculum Vitae
- Transcripts
- Three references
