Our Mission

Community-based organizations (CBOs) are the key to healthier communities. They deliver critical services, build trust, and offer programs that reflect the needs and voices of the neighborhoods they support.

At NewYork-Presbyterian, we’re committed to empowering our community partners, and as a health system deeply rooted in the communities we serve, we developed a Capacity Building strategy that delivers both Grants and Technical Assistance opportunities to local organizations. Together, these investments and resources help CBOs launch and sustain effective, community-centered work to improve the health and well-being of New Yorkers in Westchester and Greater New York City.
