Technical Assistance
Developed as a supplemental component of the Mini-Grant Program, the technical assistance initiative launched in 2019 in collaboration with a management consulting firm specializing in strategic and business planning for nonprofit organizations. Technical assistance provided mini-grant awardees operational support such as ongoing mentorship, workshops, and webinars aimed at developing organizational structure, outreach, and skill building. Participants also gained access to a network of New York City and Westchester County community-based organizations and an opportunity to learn best practices on sustainability and growth from one another. With the expansion of NewYork-Presbyterian’s Capacity Building Program, technical assistance is now available to all interested community-based organizations within NewYork-Presbyterian service areas.
