This website is devoted to helping breast cancer patients be as organized as possible and have easy access to all the support programs and activities in the tri-state area. They provide free organizers and calendars to all newly diagnosed patients as well as a list of support events in the tri-state area. They also strive to educate newly diagnosed women by providing simple, straightforward information regarding breast cancer terms and treatment options.

This organization is an excellent resource for support and education. They provide numerous educational workshops and teleconferences. They have social workers available to help patients and their families cope with the cancer diagnosis. They also offer some financial assistance for people who qualify.

Founded in the memory of Susan G. Komen, who died of breast cancer, this organization is designed to be a source of support to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and their families. They are determined to eradicate this disease and as such have provided millions to help fund research to find better ways to treat breast cancer. Their website is comprehensive, user friendly, and provides a lot of information regarding breast cancer as well as other benign breast conditions.

This website provides head coverings (hats, scarves, wigs, etc) for women experiencing hair loss due to chemotherapy and provides mastectomy bras and prosthesis. Their products are reasonably priced.
Y-Me Organization

This organization is dedicated to providing emotional support for people who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and their families. They have a 24/7 hotline for people diagnosed with breast cancer so that they can find support whenever they need it and wherever they are. (There are over 150 languages available on the hotline.) There is also a support program for family members that are trying to support their loved ones. They also have a free wig and prosthesis bank.

This website is devoted to helping women 40 or younger who have been diagnosed with breast cancer cope with their diagnosis. They have support programs, discussion forums and information about treatments, side effects and the unique concerns that young women with breast cancer face.
