Open Visiting Hours
NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital has open visiting hours. To provide patients with support from their loves ones, there are no set visiting times. Patients or a support person, selected by the patient when he or she is admitted, may decide who visits and when. Please note, for the well-being of our patients, members of the care team may also limit visiting. Our staff will work with visitors and patients, especially those in semi-private rooms, to allow patients time to rest and sleep.
- Visitors should not give food or drink to patients without checking with the nurse.
- Cell phone use is permitted in the hospital. To reduce noise and distractions, we suggest that visitors go to the lobby or step outside the hospital to make cell phone calls.
- Please do not visit if you are sick with fever, cough, or stomach upset.
Open visiting hours also apply to Obstetrics, and spouses/partners are welcome at any time, including for overnight visits. Siblings may visit when accompanied by an adult. Please note, for the well-being of our patients, members of the care team may also limit visiting to allow new mothers time to rest and sleep.
