Signs & Symptoms

Symptoms of Brain Tumors

Symptoms of a brain tumor can vary depending on the type and location of the tumor. Some patients may experience very subtle symptoms that gradually become worse, while others experience symptoms that are rapid and occur suddenly, including:

  • Headaches
  • Nausea/vomiting
  • Personality changes
  • Irritability
  • Drowsiness
  • Depression
  • Seizures
  • Vision changes
  • Slurred speech
  • Paralysis or weakness

  • Weakness
  • Numbness

Since these symptoms may be caused by conditions other than a tumor, patients should see their healthcare providers to help determine the cause.
