Alycea Harrison, MS, RD, CDN, CNSC
Senior Clinical Nutritionist - Transplant
Alycea Harrison works as a registered dietitian, certified dietitian nutritionist and certified nutrition support clinician who graduated with a BS in Dietetics from James Madison University and complete the Rutgers DI program in 2012 and Masters in Clinical Nutrition in 2019 from Rutgers University. She is currently the primary Dietitian for several adult solid organ transplant programs. These programs include the Kidney, Pancreas and Intestinal, Multivisceral Transplant and Ex Vivo.
Jeong Ho, MS, RD, CDN, CNSC

Jeong Ho is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Nutrition Support Clinician. She received a BS in Nutrition from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Korea and completed a combined Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and AP4 field experience program at New York University, Beth Israel Medical Center, and Manhattan VA Medical Center. She joined Columbia Medical Center in 1993 and has provided nutritional care for various patient populations including medicine, cardiac, oncology, ICU, transplant (inpatient & outpatient), and rehab unit. Her professional interest is nutrition support for critical illness, renal disease, and Indirect Calorimetry. She is currently covering CCU , Interventional Cardiology Unit, & Indirect Calorimetry Consult.
Joyce Porter, RD, CDN, CNSC
Clinical Nutrition Supervisor
Joyce Porter, MS, RD, CDN, CNSC has an extensive background in clinical nutrition. She received a BS in Dietetics and Nutritional Sciences from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. She completed the College of St. Elizabeth Dietetic Internship in NJ. After serving as a clinical nutritionist in two other acute care facilities, Joyce joined the clinical nutrition department of NYP/ Columbia University Irving Medical Center in May of 2016. She transitioned into the Senior Clinical Nutritionist role in August 2017 and then into the supervisor role in March 2019. Joyce is a Certified as Nutrition Support Specialist with the American Society of Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition. She is currently enrolled in a Master’s of Business Administration program through Hofstra University and anticipates to graduate in December 2019.
Catherine Zymaris, MS, RD, CDN, CNSC
Senior Clinical Nutritionist
Catherine currently serves as the Senior Clinical Nutritionist at NYP Columbia University. Catherine comes to NYP CUMC from previous positions at NYP Weill-Cornell and NYP Lower Manhattan. Catherine received her Masters of Science in Nutrition Science and Dietetics from Syracuse University and she completed her dietetic internship at Rutgers University SHRP. She also is a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician and works as staff relief in cardiology.
Kelsey Downey, RDN, CDN
Clinical Nutritionist
Kelsey Downey has been a Registered Dietitian for two years. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Johnson & Wales University with a major in Culinary Nutrition and concentrations in Clinical Dietetics and Food Science. She then completed her Dietetic Internship at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. At NYP, Kelsey is currently covering medicine and outpatient hemodialysis units.
Amanda Januszanis, MS, RD, CDN
Clinical Nutritionist
Amanda Januszanis received her Bachelors of Science in Dietetics at the University of Rhode Island and completed her combined Masters of Science and Dietetic Internship at the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ. Amanda is currently covering a Cardiac Step Down Unit and a Cardiac ICU at NYP/Columbia.
Anita King, MS, RD, CDN, CNSC

Anita King received her BS from University of Rhode Island with a major in Food and Nutritional Science. She completed her dietetic internship at Harper-Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Anita started working as a Registered Dietitian at NYP in 1979 and completed her MS in Nutrition Education in 1984 at Teachers College, Columbia University. Anita is a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician and currently works in Cardiac Thoracic ICU, LVAD and Vascular services.
Brenda Klein, RD, CDN, CDE
Clinical Nutritionist
Brenda Klein has provided nutrition care to several patient populations over the course of 25 years with the Nutrition Department at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital but most recently has covered the Transplant program. She received my BS in Nutritional Biochemistry from Cornell University, and then completed her Dietetic Internship program at New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston. Brenda enjoys providing patient education which has been enhanced by becoming a Certified Diabetes Educator.

Tracy Lesht is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist in New York. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Colorado in a combined Spanish/Business program. She received her Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition at New York University. She completed her dietetic internship through New York University at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. At NYP/Columbia she primarily covers a Cardiac Unit and Cardiac ICU.
Elizabeth Miracle, MS, RD, CSO, CDN, CNSC
Elizabeth Miracle received her Bachelors of Science in Dietetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and obtained her Masters of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Alabama. Elizabeth completed her dietetic internship through ARAMARK Healthcare. She is a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) and Certified as a Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO). Elizabeth specializes in the care of surgical oncology patients those who require surgical nutrition support. She currently covers the surgical intensive care unit (SICU) and a surgical step-down unit.

Nicole O’Brien received her BS in Nutrition and Food Science with a Dietetics concentration from Montclair State University in 2010. After graduation, she began working in seafood sales and oversaw packaging and labeling for food service and retail products. She then went on to complete a combined Master of Science and Dietetic Internship Program at the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ. At NYP/Columbia, Nicole is currently covering the behavioral health and medicine units.

Clinical Nutritionist- Transplant
Kimberly Stein is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Dietitian Nutritionist in New York. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from La Salle University, where she completed a coordinated dietetic internship program. She also has a Master of Science degree in clinical nutrition from New York University. Prior to joining NYP, she worked at Westchester Medical Center covering the burn ICU and liver/kidney transplant units. In her current position, she covers the heart transplant service and the living kidney/liver donor program.
Lindsay Wengler
Lindsay Wengler is a registered dietitian and certified dietitian-nutritionist. She received her BA in liberal arts from Evergreen State College where she focused her studies on business management and most recently graduated with a BS in dietetics from San Francisco State University. Lindsay completed her dietetic internship and fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and now primarily covers oncology units.

Erika Jacobson is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Nutrition Support Clinician. She earned her bachelors and master’s degree in nutrition from New York University. She completed her dietetic internship through New York University at The Mount Sinai Medical Center, where she worked before joining the team at NYP. In her current role, she is working part-time as a staff relief dietitian.
Melissa Townsend, MS, RD, CDN
Missi Townsend is a Registered Dietitian who received her BS in Nutritional Sciences from The Pennsylvania State University. Following completion of her undergraduate degree, she completed a combined Masters and Dietetic Internship Program at Tufts University and Tufts Medical Center. At NYP/Columbia she primarily covers oncology units.

Tara Duggan is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist in the state of New York. She graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta with a Bachelors of Science in Dietetics. She then completed a combined Masters of Science in Nutrition and Dietetic Internship at the College of Saint Elizabeth.

Monika Tess received Masters Degree in Food Technology from Academy of Life Sciences in Poland and Masters Degree in Nutrition from Brooklyn College. Monika completed DPD Program at Hunter College. After graduating, she completed Dietetic Internship and Adult Nutrition Support Nutrition Fellowship at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital. Currently she is working as a staff relief dietitian on medicine units.
Sarah Francolino, RD, CDN
Sarah Francolino is a Registered Dietitian who graduated from Drexel University. She completed her dietetic internship at Montclair State University in 2016. She is currently taking classes to obtain her Master’s degree in Human Nutrition with The University of Alabama distance learning program. She currently covers the surgical oncology floor.
