Kathleen Szymona, MPH, RD, CDN, CHE
Operations Manager Food and Nutrition
Kathleen Szymona has been working in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics for the last decade and a half. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from James Madison University, and her Dietetic Internship program and Master's in Public Health from Rutgers University (formerly known as University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey). Her career so far includes opportunities in inpatient and outpatient clinical nutrition, bariatric nutrition, and clinical nutrition management. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and serves on the state level as a Nominating officer of the NJ Dietetics Association, having previously served as a Region co-chair to plan educational activities. Katie is a member of the Greater New Jersey Society of Healthcare Food Service Administrators and is ServSafe certified. Lastly, Katie is the co-author of a manuscript entitled "An Instrument to Assess Health-Related Advertising on College Campuses," which she presented as part of the poster session at FNCE 2010.
Matthew Swader, RD, CDN
Matthew Swader is originally from Minnesota. He received a BS in Nutrition from Hunter College and completed his dietetic internship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Since then, Matt has been working at Allen hospital and covers the Behavioral health and the Medicine unit.
Curtis Fulton, MS, RD, CDN
Curtis Fulton started out working in the IT field receiving a MS in Computer Science and worked as a consultant. After working in IT, he decided to go back to school, receiving a BS in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson and Wales University. Curtis completed his dietetic internship here at New York Presbyterian and worked as a Culinary Nutrition Fellow. Currently, he works as a staff relief dietitian at the Allen.
Robert Grischuk, RD, CDN, CNSC
Robert Grischuk worked as Food Service Director in long-term care facilities prior to returning to school to study nutrition and dietetics. He Graduated from University of New Haven (UNH) with BS in Nutrition and Dietetics, graduated from NYP Dietetic Internship Program in 2009 and is scheduled for summer 2015 graduation from UNH with MS in Human Nutrition. Specialty certifications in Nutrition Support and Renal Nutrition, with plans to sit for Advanced Practice RD credential examination. Interests: traveling, cooking, renal disease pathophysiology.
Rafaela Lopez, MS, RD, CDN
Rafaela Lopez is a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist, and has been working in clinical practice for over 20 years at New York Presbyterian/Allen Hospital. Rafaela completed dual Master/Bachelor of Sciences and Dietetic Practice at Hunter College of the City University of New York. Currently she is responsible for the nutritional care of Geriatric Medicine Patients.
Michelle Del Rosario
Michelle Del Rosario graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Michelle completed her dietetic internship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital before becoming a Registered Dietitian at the NYP-Allen Hospital. She enjoys baking, traveling, and discovering new foods from all around the world.
