Vascular specialists care for people with problems in the arteries and veins outside of the heart. These disorders can range from cosmetic issues and those causing discomfort to more serious conditions that can be life-threatening. At NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, our vascular surgery team is experienced in minimally invasive endovascular approaches and surgical procedures to restore blood flow to blocked arteries and veins. From diagnosis through treatment and follow-up, you can receive state-of-the-art care here in your community. Since people with vascular disorders often have other medical conditions requiring treatment, we can also connect you with any other physicians you need, in the same medical center.

Comprehensive Assessment Using the Latest Tools
An accurate diagnosis and assessment are essential to ensure you receive the most effective treatment. We evaluate vascular disorders using one or more imaging tests in our onsite Vascular Laboratory. These tests are not painful, do not involve needles or injections, cause no discomfort, and have no side effects. We use the results of these exams to plan your care.
Customized Care with the Least Invasive Approach
We try whenever possible to treat your vascular disorder using medication, lifestyle changes, or other nonsurgical treatment, tailoring your care to your personal needs. When these approaches are not enough, we offer the latest interventional radiology (endovascular) therapies and minimally invasive surgery. Our vascular specialists have exceptional experience performing these procedures, which enable you to recover more quickly than conventional surgery and get back to the activities you enjoy.
