NewYork-Presbyterian provides a multidisciplinary, integrated team approach to address the spectrum of transplant needs of children and teens with acute and chronic organ failure. Our hospital was the first in the world to perform a successful pediatric heart transplant surgery and we offer specialized programs dedicated to pediatric heart, kidney, liver, intestinal, and multi-visceral transplantation with the highest level of medical and surgical expertise. Our faculty are at the forefront of research to help reduce the need for organ transplantation, implement innovative and minimally invasive techniques for surgery, and improve long-term outcomes.
