Emilia Fazzalari Women’s Health Center of Excellence

At NewYork-Presbyterian The One, the Emilia Fazzalari Women’s Health Center of Excellence will expand access to integrated, multidisciplinary care for women across Manhattan and Westchester. The program focuses on addressing women’s evolving health needs, with dedicated expertise delivering coordinated, lifelong care in perimenopause and menopause. Our full range of women’s health care includes:

Routine check-ups, screenings and disease management
Medical and surgical treatment of gynecologic conditions
Advanced care for gynecologic cancer, pre-cancer, and high-risk patients
Prenatal care, including high-risk pregnancies
Accessible, insurance-based mental health care for women at all life stages

Gynecologic care

The multidisciplinary team at NewYork-Presbyterian The One works together to provide a spectrum of integrated women’s health services. We take a compassionate approach to care, including a commitment to the right level of pain management for gynecologic procedures. Our doctors have access to the most advanced technology and leverage the latest research to personalize diagnosis and treatment. Our physicians offer:

Genetic counseling
Physical therapy and pelvic floor rehab
Contraception counseling
Comprehensive women's imaging, including ultrasound, 3D mammograms, fetal heart scans, MRI, CT, EKG and advanced cardiac diagnostics
Minimally invasive outpatient surgery including hysteroscopy and robotic gynecologic surgery, cerclage, colposcopy, and loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP)
Gynecologic (ovarian, cervical, vaginal, uterine, and vulvar) cancer care
Infusion services including chemotherapy and iron infusions
Treatment of conditions unique to women, such as endometriosis and fibroids

Menopause management

NewYork-Presbyterian The One is one of the only centers in Westchester focusing on full menopause management. Our experienced and compassionate gynecologists guide patients through the years before, during, and following menopause. We work closely with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan that minimizes symptoms and discomfort while improving overall health.

Because menopause affects everyone differently, we offer a range of evidence-backed treatments to address individual needs. We treat menopause through a multidisciplinary approach that includes collaboration with cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, behavioral health experts, sleep medicine , and other specialties across the NewYork-Presbyterian hospital network.
