Feedback from Previous Attendees and Speakers
"What a wonderful and invigorating two days at #NYP Nursing Leadership Academy. From strategic learning to putting your vision and mission, as a leader, into action with your team and inspiring those to be accountable for the success of their unit and outcomes was #innovative. This is a great way to start #NURSESWEEK2019. Applause to the nursing professional development department for hosting this that allows other #nurseleaders to be part of a community and share their words of wisdom in action.”
“I loved when the CNE talked about blocking time to plan and strategically think. As a new PCD, my to-do list is a mile long, and it's easy to get derailed and lost in the weeds of 'to dos'.”
"I enjoyed being there ... lots of nuggets for nurse leaders!"
"Fantastic leadership conference! I have not been to anything like this before. It was very organized and informative. Thank you for putting so much work and effort into this conference."
“It was a well-organized program for the nurse leader of today. The content was right and matched my learning needs as a nurse leader. Great program!”
“I learned how to apply transformational leadership to my daily practice.”
"Inspiring and powerful! Awesome two days. I highly encouraged other leaders to attend the next one. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be part of this. You are amazing. Superb conference. Great job on putting this together. I really enjoyed this conference. I am transformed and super excited to share this with my team in Brooklyn."
“To be able to share what we know with future generations is our undying legacy.”
“Great conference. Very informative. Great speakers.”
“I loved the panel discussion — would like to see more of that!”
I want to take a moment to say #ThankYou for the conference, which contained such relevant, timely, and useful content. It was fun to learn with my peers and discuss each presentation on a practical level."
"It was a great two-day conference, and I learned a lot. Being the only one from a Long Term Care facility, I thought the content would not be applicable, but I realized leadership is leadership anywhere. I was also fortunate to be able to speak to two of the speakers in person and able to take something from it. On the first day of the conference, I realized I closed a door for me, but after hearing about grit versus talent, I realized I could open that same door or kick another door open. Thanks again for a great job, and looking forward to the next training or conferences."
