Volunteers are a vital part of the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. They provide vital assistance to our patients, families, and health care professionals. Throughout Komansky Children's Hospital, they can be found lending a helpful hand with a wide range of tasks and activities. We welcome warm and caring individuals who would like to volunteer their time and talents. Our volunteers welcome patients and families, provide toys and games, do arts and crafts activities, serve as a companion when one is needed, and help ease stress during a hospital stay. Clearly, our volunteers make a special difference in the lives of our young patients and their families.
All volunteers must be at least 18 years old and apply through the Hospital’s Volunteer Office. When you apply, let the volunteer office staff know you are interested in a position in the Department of Pediatrics.
