Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Training Program

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Training Program

Application Process

Advanced Dental Education Programs (PASS)

Applications for residency must be completed through the Advanced Dental Education Programs (PASS). For us to review your file, we require a copy of your CV, Personal Statement, CBSE, and the supplemental application. Please visit: https://www.dental.columbia.edu/education/postdoctoral-and-residency-programs/oral-and-maxillofacial-surgery-md-residency/admissions-information

Every application will be reviewed by our Program director upon receipt from PASS. Approximately 20 applicants will be granted interviews. Interviews will be conducted on two dates in the fall.  The schedule will include interviewing with members of the teaching staff, meeting with our graduate staff, and virtually touring the facilities.

Candidates matched for a residency position are automatically accepted for all six years of specialty training at NYPH (PGY 1-6). Each year two trainees are selected, for a total of twelve residents in the six-year program.
