Our board-certified OB/GYNs care for women through any life stage — from adolescence through motherhood, menopause, and beyond. We offer women's health services at our convenient Medical Group locations across Brooklyn, so you can access world-class care close to home.

Patients and their families can also find exceptional maternity care right here in Park Slope. NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital has a Level lll Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for babies born at less than 32 weeks gestation, as well as babies born with critical illness at any gestational age, staffed by specialized neonatal nurses and neonatologists. Throughout the borough, we provide additional OB/GYN care, genetic testing, family planning, midwifery, and various counseling services to support women's health needs.

Our approach to care

Our specialists take a holistic, personalized approach to gynecologic care to promote longevity and improve quality of life. Our full range of medical and surgical services includes routine check-ups, prenatal and maternity services; family planning; cancer screenings; and treatment of gynecologic disorders. We have expertise in abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, endometriosis, urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and other conditions that may arise. Using the latest minimally invasive approaches, our gynecologic surgeons are equipped to treat the most complex and challenging gynecologic conditions through hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and robotic surgery.

Women’s Diagnostic Center

At our Women’s Diagnostic Center, specialists from Weill Cornell Medicine provide advanced diagnostic and imaging services, including breast imaging, bone densitometry, needle core biopsy, and fine-needle aspiration.

We are designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). This prestigious honor is considered the gold seal for imaging procedures and shows that women who have breast imaging done at the Women’s Diagnostic Center receive the highest level of care.

NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR), making it one of only two hospitals in Brooklyn to receive this prestigious honor.

ACR Center of Excellence accreditation is considered the gold seal for imaging procedures. It confirms that patients receiving mammograms and breast sonograms are being treated with the highest level of care.
