Park Slope Midwives has been a resource for expectant mothers in Brooklyn since 1993, delivering thousands of babies with skill and care. We provide compassionate obstetric and gynecologic care for women throughout every stage of life. The team has full admitting and delivery privileges at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Our midwives are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To reach us after hours or for labor calls, please call 718-499-3636. For routine matters, please call our office. We are open Monday-Friday during normal business hours.

Individualized care through every stage of pregnancy

Park Slope Midwives is dedicated to partnering with you to ensure a safe and comfortable birthing experience. We welcome all of Brooklyn’s diverse backgrounds and cultural beliefs, collaborating with you and a team of expert obstetricians, with the latest technology readily available.

Education & support for new parents

We offer virtual classes and group meetings to support expectant parents through the perinatal to postpartum period and educate them about childbirth and newborn care. See our childbirth class and support group offerings here.

We also have a weekly online breastfeeding support group that is free to join for breastfeeding parents with babies up to 3 months old.

The MyCare Pregnancy app

The MyCare Pregnancy app provides access to educational resources reviewed by your doctor, helps you stay connected virtually with your care team, and sends important reminders throughout every stage of your pregnancy. Learn more and download the app here.

Maternity tours

To schedule a tour of the labor and delivery and postpartum units at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, please email [email protected] or call 646-674-2978. We offer a newborn care class that includes breastfeeding techniques directly after the tour. Up to 2 adults are permitted to attend the tour. Registration is required, and space is limited.
