Behavioral Developmental Health

The mission of the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics within NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is to assist children in realizing their full potential in physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. A play-based assessment addresses the child's language, motor, intellectual, social, and emotional development to understand the whole child and their strengths and weaknesses. Evaluation, treatment, and referrals are provided for a wide range of conditions, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, language and motor delays, autism spectrum disorder, and behavior problems.
