Donor Recognition
Donor Recognition Societies
Acknowledging our donors is an important part of saying "thank you" and honoring our most generous and loyal supporters.
The George Ingraham Seney Society honors the legacy of our Hospital's first major donor and recognizes a distinguished group of supporters who have carried on his tradition by contributing $1,500 or more in unrestricted gifts annually. Members receive distinct recognition on the annual giving wall in the Carrington Pavilion and an exclusive invitation to a cocktail celebration. View our 2017 Seney Society Members.
George Ingraham Seney and our Hospital's founding in 1881.
The 1881 Society pays tribute to the year of our Hospital's founding by recognizing supporters who have shown their ongoing commitment with a gift of any amount (non-event) for three or more consecutive years. Members receive a small token of our appreciation when they reach five and ten years of consecutive giving. View our 2017 1881 Society Members.
The Legacy Society honors those who have included our Hospital in their estate plans. Mr. and
Mrs. Stanley H. Miner established their legacy in 1937 when they named the Hospital as the principal beneficiary of their estate, leaving a bequest that funded the Miner Pavilion. The Miners remind us of the importance of planned giving and the significant impact it can have. Please contact the Department of Development at 718-501-6880 if you have or plan to include NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist in your estate plans—through a bequest, life insurance plan, trust or other planned giving option.
