Standardizing Neurology Care Across the Region
In collaboration with Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medicine, NewYork-Presbyterian is committed to providing the highest quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care to all members of the diverse communities served by NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital, NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, and their affiliated physician medical groups.
Through its Regional Hospital Network, NewYork-Presbyterian’s extensive breadth of clinical services and hospital resources now extend from Northern Westchester through all of Manhattan and into Brooklyn and Queens, reaching a population of some 8.8 million people.

As one notable example, in 2018, NewYork-Presbyterian expanded its Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit — the first of its kind on the East Coast — to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens and NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist, complementing the neurological and interventional stroke services already available in these boroughs.
