On Friday, December 21, firefighters from Ladder Company 122, Engine Company 220, and Ladder Company 105 joined Santa Claus to bring toys to New York Methodist Hospital's pediatrics patients. The firefighters visited children in the Hospital's inpatient pediatric unit, pediatric intensive care unit, pediatric emergency room, and pediatric outpatient clinic. "Fireman San­­ta" is a long-time yearly tradition at NYM. Between Santa, his "helpers," Hospital staff, parents and, most importantly, the children, there were plenty of smiles to go around.
