NYP Hudson Valley Hospital Magnet Nurses Celebrated for Certification Achievements

Mar 18, 2016

At a recent celebration of National Certified Nurses Day in our main lobby, 141 Magnet nurses were congratulated on their achievements in nursing specialty and subspecialty certifications. John Federspiel, President, and Stacey Petrower, Chief Operating Officer, joined A. Bonnie Corbett, Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President, Patient Care Services, in recognizing our Magnet nurses' interest, professionalism, time - and all that is involved in obtaining certifications. While the decision to achieve certification is voluntary, it demonstrates, underscores and validates advanced knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience above and beyond the normal scope of licensure, and contributes greatly to better patient outcomes.

All at NYP/Hudson Valley Hospital are extremely proud of our Magnet nurses for their outstanding commitment and dedication to patient care, to ensure "We Put Patients First." Thank you!
