If you have a family history of heart disease or are concerned that you may be a candidate for a heart attack, you can learn about a potentially life-saving diagnostic tool during a 7pm presentation on Thursday, September 23rd sponsored by Lawrence Hospital Center. The talk, "How to Detect Heart Disease,” will take place at the Bronxville Library's Yeager Room. Stephen Koch, MD and Medical Director of Radiology at Lawrence will be the guest speaker. Hospital clinicians will also offer free carotid artery and blood pressure screenings.
By utilizing the hospital's new Low Dose CT scanning device, Dr. Koch can determine if you are at risk for developing heart disease. Registration for this free presentation is required. To sign up for the talk, call 914-787-5000.
