UNIVISION Town Hall on Women’s Health

UNIVISION/Channel 41 celebrated health week from August 23-30. As part of this health initiative (and in collaboration with NYP) the network hosted a town hall on women’s health on Friday, August 29, in the Myrna L. Daniels Auditorium and the Riverview Terrace. The forum was recorded and live streamed for national viewing across all platforms – broadcast and cable television, digital, radio and social media. The panel of experts included Steven Toledo, deputy director for National Latina Institute in Reproductive Health; Samantha Paz from the Hispanic Federation; and Dr. Annette Perez-Delboy, director of labor & delivery, and co-director of Mother's Center at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. The event was a big success with over 450 people in attendance.
