Change of Career
Discover whether a career in healthcare is for you by taking the time to volunteer in the clinical environment. You will be rounding on patients, answering call bells, engaging in conversation, escalating concerns, and supporting their nutritional needs at mealtime. You will also support staff by running errands, assisting with projects, and stocking supplies. You will work closely with nurses, nursing assistants, and unit clerks, among others.
We offer two options for your schedule:
Two 4-hour shifts per week for 6 months
One 4-hour shift per week for 10 months
Shifts are available 7 days a week between 8 am and 8 pm. No healthcare experience is required.
In addition to clinical experience, you will have opportunities to connect with a community of like-minded volunteers who are also exploring a career change, including opportunities to meet them through zoom sessions and on site. Please complete an application and let us know more about YOU!
