Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program

Welcome to the Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship Programs at the NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, a member and major teaching hospital of the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System and affiliate of the Weill Cornell Medical College. In addition to general clinical cardiovascular disease training, the Division of Cardiology offers advanced training fellowships in interventional cardiology, clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and clinical cardiovascular research.

Founded in 1881, NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital serves a uniquely diverse urban patient population in Brooklyn, New York. The Division of Cardiology has grown rapidly to accommodate Brooklyn's rapid population growth. With over 14 full time faculty members and numerous adjunct instructors, the Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship Programs provide comprehensive clinical and academic training covering all the important aspects of preventive, noninvasive and invasive cardiology. Additionally, we maintain collaborative access to physicians and resources through the NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital-Cornell Heart Center as well as the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System. Our training emphasis is on applying and integrating evidence-based medicine into daily clinical practice. The mission of our postdoctoral training programs is to produce the very best clinical and academic cardiologists for the evolving sphere of cardiovascular medicine.
