Welcome to the Division of Cardiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital
Our trainees are the cornerstone of our division and play an integral role in the care of every patient we serve. We take great pride in fostering a collaborative, supportive environment where fellows are empowered to grow into thoughtful, skilled, and compassionate cardiovascular specialists. We are delighted to share with you the depth and breadth of our training program.
Brooklyn—home to more than 2.5 million residents—is New York City’s largest borough and among the most diverse communities in the United States. Nearly one-third of its residents are immigrants, creating a uniquely rich clinical environment. This diversity offers unparalleled exposure to a wide spectrum of cardiovascular disease and exceptional clinical training.
Through our partnership with Weill Cornell Medicine, our fellows benefit from robust academic opportunities, including engagement in clinical research, quality improvement, and scholarly collaboration. Our graduates are exceptionally well prepared to pursue advanced subspecialty training or to embark on successful careers in cardiovascular medicine.
Thank you for your interest in our program. We encourage you to explore further and welcome you to reach out with any questions.
