Rotation Schedule

The first year of fellowship includes 4-6 weeks of consultation service, 4 weeks of Advanced HF, 4 weeks of EP, 6 weeks of Telemetry, 6 weeks of CCU, 6 weeks of Nights and the rest of the time in echocardiography (8-10 weeks), cardiac catheterization (8-10 weeks), nuclear stress testing (4 weeks) and multi-modality imaging (2-4 weeks). 24hr calls are structured into the Telemetry/CCU rotation and six 24hr calls are done in the first year and second year each. In the third year of fellowship, the total number of service rotations, nights and weekends reduces to 2 weeks of telemetry, 2 weeks of CCU, 4 weeks of general consult, 4 weeks of Advanced HF and rest of the time tailored to best fit the individual fellow's needs and future goals.
