Spotlight: The Trust For Public Land
NewYork-Presbyterian is proud to support The Trust For Public Land (TPL), a nonprofit dedicated to creating and expanding access to parks and green spaces across New York City.
TPL's Community Schoolyard program has helped transform asphalt playgrounds into public parks for students and community members at the Inwood Community Campus and Corlears Complex in Manhattan, I.S. 145 Joseph Pulitzer School in Queens, and M.S. 35 Stephen Decatur in Brooklyn. Each of these spaces is accessible to the public after school hours and on weekends.
