World-class musculoskeletal care is right here in Queens.
Our skilled and compassionate orthopedic specialists are here to deliver unparalleled care and a high-quality experience for each patient. The experts at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens provide the most advanced and comprehensive treatments for musculoskeletal conditions in adults and children. Our team includes orthopedic surgeons, trauma surgeons and other trauma specialists, pediatric surgeons, sports medicine and concussion specialists, spine surgeons, orthotists, interventional physiatrists, anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), and physician assistants (PAs). Your care team will work closely with therapists from the rehabilitation department to get you comfortably back on your feet, on the court, or at work—wherever your activities take you.
If you need urgent orthopedic care, the Emergency Department at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is a designated Level I Trauma Center—the highest designation available by New York State for an emergency department. An orthopedic surgeon is available around the clock to provide consultation when needed in an emergency. Based on the severity of your injury at the time of your visit, our trauma team will determine the best treatment for you.
In addition to caring for patients, our team is committed to advancing the field through research and education. Orthopedics surgery residents from Hospital for Special Surgery rotate through our program, and we also provide training for PA students from St. John's University. We are also conducting investigator-initiated and multicenter clinical trials evaluating the latest technologies, so you may have the opportunity to receive a promising new treatment.
