CLER Action Subcommittee

Mission

To improve how NewYork-Presbyterian Queens engages Resident and Fellow physicians in learning to provide safe, high quality patient care. This involves six Focus Areas: Patient Safety; Health Care Quality and HC Disparities; Care Transitions; Supervision; Well-Being; and Professionalism.

Wellbeing Subcommittee

Mission

To implement effective solutions that improve physician well-being and resilience, which ultimately translates to better care for our patients. Members of the committee work in partnership with programs across the NewYork-Presbyterian Queens/NewYork-Presbyterian system to provide resources to improve work-life integration, work satisfaction and individual health/well-being.

Faculty Development Subcommittee

Mission

To organize and implement activities for the benefit of teaching faculty, house staff, and the overall learning environment at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. As well as to provide resources for faculty that enhance their ability to teach, learn, evaluate, and provide feedback.

Policies and Procedures Subcommittee

Mission

To create, review, implement, update, and disseminate GME relevant policies and procedures that are aligned with those of the Sponsoring Institution - NewYork-Presbyterian Queens.

Medical Simulation Subcommittee

Mission

Our medical simulation lab is dedicated to enhance learning and education across all caregivers while utilizing the most advanced technology and integrating adult learning theory.
