Lymphedema Treatment

Lymphedema can develop if you’ve had lymph nodes removed under your arm—for example, during surgery for breast cancer. At NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, we offer lymphedema rehabilitation using a complete “decongestive treatment” technique to decrease swelling. Our certified lymphedema therapists have extensive training and work closely with each patient and their doctor to develop a treatment plan.
