At NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, our fellowship-trained specialized physicians use a nonsurgical approach whenever possible to treat musculoskeletal injuries and sports medicine conditions These methods include cortisone injections, physical supplementation injections, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, stem cell injections, physical therapy regimens, custom bracing, splinting, casting, home exercises, dance medicine, and medications. We use these treatments to care for people with injuries and overuse disorders such as those affecting the hip, knee, ankle, shoulder elbow, wrist, hand, neck, and back.
