A team of cancer experts
We offer cancer experts in all types of treatment, whether it includes surgery or a more extensive combination of therapies such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy or immunotherapy. Your dedicated cancer specialists, including surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and radiologists, will collaborate with oncology nurses and nurse practitioners, radiation technologists, palliative care specialists, registered dietitians, physical and occupational therapists to formulate an individualized treatment plan that best suits your needs.
In collaboration with Weill Cornell Medicine, NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital participates in multi-disciplinary tumor boards, which combines the expertise of multiple clinicians to discuss the best care for each patient, and clinical trials. NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is one of the few hospitals in Brooklyn to be accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.
