The Breast Center offers compassionate and comprehensive breast care supported by leading edge technology and clinical excellence. The Breast Center provides the entire spectrum of breast care services, including routine mammography and diagnostic studies, minimally invasive biopsy techniques, state-of-the-art surgical services for benign and malignant disease of the breast, breast reconstruction by a dedicated reconstructive surgeon if needed, and consultative second opinion services.
For women facing increased risk of breast cancer, screening programs are available to aid in early detection. Risk factors are identified (family history, life style, etc.) and, where possible, are reduced as part of a prevention program. Our multidisciplinary team of physicians and allied health professionals meets regularly to discuss patient treatment plans. Imaging modalities include:
