The neurosurgical service at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital offers particular expertise in complex spinal surgery, brain tumors, peripheral nerve surgery, and vascular diseases of the brain. Back and neck conditions treated include herniated disc, spinal nerve compression, spinal compression fractures, and spinal stenosis. When appropriate, minimally invasive approaches are employed for neurosurgical procedures.
In addition, the neurosurgical service is affiliated with the Weill Cornell Brain and Spine Center and Weill Cornell Epilepsy.
