“I've always been intensely dedicated to advocating for the health and well being of children, adolescents, and adults. These passions along with my strong interests in physics and physiology naturally led me to pursue a career in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology.”

The specialty of Pediatric Cardiology and has undergone tremendous expansion and change over the past 30 years with the introduction, development and evolution of many new diagnostic and therapeutic treatment options. The provision of care for a variety of heart conditions has become a profoundly inter-disciplinary approach requiring collaboration amongst numerous doctors within the field of Pediatric Cardiology and when necessary, pediatric cardiac surgeons.

As a result of the many wonderful scientific advances, there is a rapidly growing population of children and young adults with structural and acquired heart disease in the United States and worldwide. I believe that the best way for these patients to receive the specialized care they need is to give them and their families the comfort of a full and clear explanation of their cardiac condition and to provide them the best available treatments.
