NYP Queens participates in cancer-related clinical research, enrolling patients in national cancer-related clinical trials without having to leave the borough.
The integration of multi-specialty cancer conferences help guide treatment planning based on a consensus after discussing all the data associated with a patient’s case. This is an integral process in optimizing patient healthcare delivery.
The Weill Cornell Medicine Meyer Cancer Center has initiated a supportive care program for all newly diagnosed patients and their families. Enhanced services that are offered include:

Commission on Cancer Accreditation (CoC): Weill Cornell Medicine Meyer Cancer Center is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACS-CoC) as an Academic Comprehensive Cancer Program (ACAD). The Cancer Center has been accredited since 1987 and has achieved the highest level of commendations by the Commission on Cancer in our most recent site visit in 2016.
