Research is essential for improving our understanding of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and for developing innovative, more effective treatments and management approaches to improve the lives of individuals and their families. Toward that goal, CADB offers clinical research opportunities.
In addition to clinical research, we collaborate with investigators studying the genetic and neuroscientific aspects of ASD, environmental influences, and brain imaging studies of neural circuits that change with ASD therapy.
Both Columbia University Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medical Center feature strong epidemiology and molecular biology research programs.
Participation in research studies and volunteer opportunities at CADB assist with the advancement of autism understanding, treatments and education. In return, participants receive specific services at no cost and compensation.
