Gynecologic surgery options
Whenever possible, our expert surgeons use minimally invasive techniques such as hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and robotic surgery to treat abnormal bleeding, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and benign pelvic masses. Robotic surgery results in smaller incisions, which leads to less postoperative discomfort and a faster road to recovery. Many urogynecology procedures performed at our facilities, such as surgery to repair pelvic floor issues, can be done on an outpatient basis for your convenience. We specialize in minimally invasive outpatient surgery, including hysteroscopy and robotic gynecologic surgery, cerclage, colposcopy, and loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP).
Obstetric and maternity services
We offer personalized care at every step of your journey to motherhood, from preconception to postpartum. More than 1,400 babies are delivered each year in the state-of-the-art Maternity Center at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester, where we offer maternal-fetal medicine consultations, prenatal classes, breastfeeding support, and obstetric anesthesiology, and neonatology services onsite 24/7 in case of emergency or complications.
Our Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester and NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley are equipped to provide expert care for infants requiring specialized observation and medical treatment. If your baby is diagnosed with a congenital abnormality, we will facilitate a referral and ensure a seamless transition to the perinatal specialists at the Center for Prenatal Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of New York at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital.
We provide our patients with access to mental health services from specialists who have expertise in the reproductive life cycle, the transition to parenthood, and postpartum wellness, as well as personalized fertility services. Our OB/GYNs collaborate with our reproductive endocrinology and fertility specialists to provide an array of medical and surgical treatment options for infertility, including IUI and IVF.
Menopause management
NewYork-Presbyterian The One is one of the only centers in Westchester to provide comprehensive menopause management. Our expert gynecologists partner with patients to reduce symptoms, improve overall health, and create tailored treatment plans supported by evidence-based therapies. With a multidisciplinary approach that integrates cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, behavioral health, sleep medicine, and other specialties, we address the full spectrum of menopause care.
