We offer services across the continuum of care, including inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient programs.

Westchester Behavioral Health opened its doors in White Plains, New York in 1894. Since its inception, the Westchester campus has been at the forefront of the movement known as "moral treatment," which means providing patient-focused care in elegant facilities specifically designed to offer the tranquility and activities required for mental health healing. The beautifully landscaped grounds cover over 200 acres and provide space for specialized services and therapeutic activities.

Building on our legacy of world-class patient- and family-centered care, we were the first behavioral health hospital in the nation to be formally named by Planetree Inc. as "Gold Certified for Excellence in Person-Centered Care™." We have also achieved Magnet Recognition® from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. We have remained a leader in serving the mental healthcare needs of our community and are grateful to our local referral resources, with whom we collaborate to improve the lives of our patients.
