Cancer screening

Our experts perform exams to detect cancers in their early, most curable stages, including screening tests for breast, prostate, colorectal, lung, cervical, and skin cancers. Genetic counseling and testing are available for people with an elevated risk of cancer due to family history. If cancer is suspected, our team offers imaging tests, including advanced techniques such as PET/CT scanning, blood tests, and fine-needle and surgical biopsies to confirm the diagnosis. Awards & accolades

The Carol H. Taylor Breast Health Center at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). This recognizes that our Center has earned accreditation in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, and breast ultrasound (including ultrasound guided breast biopsy). The Center is also a Pink Ribbon Facility offering 3D mammography.
