What is the Express Care Program?
With NewYork-Presbyterian’s Express Care program, you can connect virtually with a board-certificated emergency medicine physician rather than waiting for an in-person evaluation when entering the Emergency Department.
The Express Care program is available to triaged and eligible patients seeking express urgent care in the Emergency Departments at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital.
Shorter Wait Times in the Emergency Department
Visitors will receive an initial triage and in-person medical screening exam upon entering the Emergency Department. Eligible patients can video conference with an emergency medicine physician in a private room.
With the Express Care program, our goal is to shorten wait times for emergency visits while providing the same top-notch medical experience as you would have in person.
