Our approach to surgical care

Our hospital features both ambulatory operating rooms and procedure rooms for outpatient endoscopy and special procedures. Every patient has an assigned nurse and private prep and recovery rooms. Our expert surgeons work with referring doctors to ensure seamless communication and create a customized surgical plan and nurturing aftercare. We also offer same-day surgical procedures at our Center for Community Health, located just across the street from our hospital.

As a designated Level II Trauma Center, our teams are equipped to manage complex cases with expert precision. We have numerous locations throughout Brooklyn. While surgery is only conducted at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist or at our Center for Community Health, our pre- and -post-operative care can occur at any of our Medical Group locations.
