NewYork-Presbyterian

Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship

Application Process

Applicants must have completed residency or be in their final year of residency (or chief residency) at a pediatrics residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

Our program uses the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) to coordinate and review applications. In addition to their updated Curriculum Vitae, and Personal Statement, applicants should solicit three (3) Letters of Recommendation — one from the Residency Program Director, and two other letters from individuals who know them well. A complete application includes the following:

  • Application/Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Statement
  • Three letters of recommendation (including 1 from the Residency Program Director)

The deadline for completed applications is August 15. For any questions, please contact us at: [email protected].

Interviews

Interviews will be granted to a select number of applicants based on the strength of their application. Applicants selected for interview will be notified in mid-August. Interviewees can expect to spend half a day with us to meet our fellows and faculty from both Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medicine. All interviews will be virtual.

Match

Our program offers two fellowship positions per year. We participate in the pediatric fellowship match through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP).
