Critical Care PA Fellowship Program Application Procedure

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program 
  • NCCPA Board Certification (including new graduates who are PANCE eligible) 
    • Must be certified by June 15th
  • NYS license 
  • Current BLS & ACLS certifications 
  • Curriculum Vitae 
  • Personal Statement/Letter of Intent 
  • 3 letters of recommendation (for graduates < 2 years, must include a letter from program faculty member and a letter from a clinical preceptor)
  • 3 letters of recommendation from leaders who can speak to your clinical work (e.g., program director/faculty, clinical preceptor, supervisor, or manager):
    • If <1 year of experience, at least 1 letter must be from a PA Program faculty member and 1 letter must be from a clinical rotation preceptor
    • If 1-2 years of experience, 1 letter must be from PA Program faculty member and other 2 letters may be from either a clinical rotation preceptor and/or current clinical supervisor/manager
  • Personal Interview

Timeline

Applications for each cycle are due by April 30 for an October start date. Notification of acceptance will be provided by May 15. After your application is received, our team will contact you regarding the next steps.
