New Office Offers Wide Range of Specialties Including Orthopedics, Obstetrics, Gynecology and Primary Care

NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn has announced the grand opening of a new, state-of-the-art medical group multispecialty office. At this centrally located facility at 3417 Kings Highway in Brooklyn, New York, patients can receive high-quality patient care and consultation in a wide range of medical specialties, including pediatric and adult orthopedics, sports and rehabilitation medicine, obstetrics, gynecology, neurology, pulmonology and primary care. Additional specialties, including midwifery, cardiology, vascular surgery and endocrine surgery will be available soon. The physicians who practice at the office include highly experienced experts from Weill Cornell Medicine and Columbia University’s Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. The physicians will provide seamless access to the resources and services of NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

“Our new multispecialty office located in the heart of the Flatlands and Midwood area has been carefully designed to provide top-quality, patient-centered care in more than 10 specialties, with additional specialties coming soon,” said Dr. Steven Silber, regional executive medical director of NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn. “The physicians practicing here are dedicated to providing the community with vital medical services and are establishing new ways to engage and support the residents in the borough, including through telemedicine consultations and patient education outreach activities. This new site is yet another way we are connecting the people of Brooklyn to the world-class physicians in their community.”

The Kings Highway office is located in the Midwood and Flatlands area, in close proximity to Marine Park, Mill Basin and the Flatbush neighborhoods. The facility is easily accessible by car (with convenient and accessible street parking) or public transportation, and is located near the B44, B41, B82, B9 and B7 bus line and the Q train. The three-story, 10,000-square-foot facility also offers state-of-the-art equipment, including an X-ray suite, ultrasound and electrocardiogram.

  • Colorectal Surgery: Hans Burkholder, M.D., colon and rectal surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn and assistant professor of clinical surgery, Weill Cornell Medicine
  • Pulmonology: Noah Reisman, M.D., pulmonologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn and assistant professor of clinical medicine, Weill Cornell Medicine
  • Gastroenterology: Franklin Kasmin, M.D., gastroenterologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn
  • Neurology: Moath Hamed, M.D., attending physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn and assistant professor of clinical neurology, Weill Cornell Medicine
